Unbiased review on our Drift messenger bag

Friday, October 1st, 2010

“I bought this bag so that I could use it on vacation to put in all my usual purse stuff, two small umbrellas, and my small pocket-sized camera, small video camera, and a larger camera with a 20x x zoom. I prefer not to carry a separate camera bag (just another thing to lose). So far, this bag is GREAT! Its not overly large, and is also water-resistant, so the rain so frequent in the Disney World area should not be a problem, or in any other tropical area. It also has two nifty side pockets which are perfect for a water bottle and your cell phone or small camera. Just small pockets to get your stuff quickly. There are many, many organizational pockets, which help with all the girlie purse stuff. Very nice strap too that can be over the shoulder, or extended for a cross body bag. The bag itself is VERY light weight, but strong fabric, so you are not starting off with a heavy bag before you add your items. Overall, I am very, very happy with this bag as it is just perfect for what I needed to carry on vacation. They also describe in the description that it has a strap that can be used while on your bike, to keep it more secure. I found this strap to be very useful when stopping for a meal. I would just use this bike strap to attach it to the chair to keep some would be robber from making off with my bag while I enjoyed my meal. It also comes in some attractive colors.”

Sirocco urban laptop tote bag review – by Geardiary

I have been using the Sirocco Urban Laptop Tote Bag. The Sirocco comes in blue jean, red,  gray or  black “crinkle-nylon”. The is lined with high-quality 420D nylon. Laptop compartment fits up to 15.4″ laptops. The large main compartment is expandable by 2″ with side zipper. (This bag holds a ton of stuff!!!) The large front pockets are good for organizing small electronics, as well as pens, change, phone, IPod and more. A back pocket is good for magazines. The bag ships with a shock-absorbing shoulder strap.

Shine glossy laptop bag review – by Geardiary

Elana describes it in this way-

I loved it when I saw the picture, I loved it even more when it arrived, and I continue to LOVE it now that I am using it.

When I asked her to be more specific this is what she had to say-

Shine glossy laptop bag review – by ChipChickIce Red has proved to be a reliable company for sturdy cute bags such as the sporty chic messenger bag we reviewed last year.  The “Shine” laptop bag is a design anomaly for Ice Red.  It is feminine, glossy, and bright!  In this transition to blunt fashionista bags, they didn’t lose versatility or sturdiness.  In fact, they cleverly incorporated it to their advantage.

Geeksugar review – Shine and Sirocco

Geeksugar reviewed our 2 new styles recently – Shine glossy laptop bag and Sirocco urban laptop tote.

geeksugar review - Shine and Sirocco

“Shopping online is so convenient and so much fun, especially when there are websites like Shop It To Me that fully customize your online shopping adventures. But I do love checking out items in person, especially laptop bags, so I can decide whether or not the bag is exactly what I’m looking for. So when these two bags from Ice Red Designs arrived on my doorstep, I instantly outweighed the pros and cons of each. For an all around trendy day-to-night kinda bag, the black vinyl Shine Glossy Laptop Bag can hold laptops up to 17-inches and offers multiple compartments and pockets for your shades, cell, a book and other goodies. Drift Messenger Bag Review – Chip Chick

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Ice Red’s Drift is a messenger bag that can also masquerade as a laptop bag. The Drift bag is very versatile and exhibits sporty chic appeal with utmost utility.

Unlike many other laptop bags, this one is overflowing with usable space. It is a great option for those who find laptop bags too confining. Most of the time one needs to put more in a laptop bag then just techy stuff, maybe some makeup, hair ties, or a good read, and this bag can fit it at 17”x 13”x 7”. In addition to your laptop you can probably fit most of your electronic collection- ipod, camera, external hardrive, CDs, and a few other things too.

UNI cargo laptop tote bag – review by Laptop Bag Explorer

Last week Alan from Ice Red Designs sent me a UNI cargo laptop tote bag to take a look at. While I believe the styling of the bag is best for a woman, I’ve been personally testing it out and I must say I’m really impressed with the bag so far. Plenty of room, plenty of pockets and nice craftsmanship with all of the pattern cuts, stitching, zippers and material being well made with great quality.
