Ice Red’s Drift is a messenger bag that can also masquerade as a laptop bag. The Drift bag is very versatile and exhibits sporty chic appeal with utmost utility.

Unlike many other laptop bags, this one is overflowing with usable space. It is a great option for those who find laptop bags too confining. Most of the time one needs to put more in a laptop bag then just techy stuff, maybe some makeup, hair ties, or a good read, and this bag can fit it at 17”x 13”x 7”. In addition to your laptop you can probably fit most of your electronic collection- ipod, camera, external hardrive, CDs, and a few other things too.

Looking for an inexpensive bag for your laptop that is geared towards women and doesn’t really look like a laptop bag? How about the Ice Red UNI Cargo Laptop Tote bag.

Constructed of durable 1680D ballistic nylon, the UNI is available in Black, Brown, Grey, Lime and Navy. It’s sized at 12″ x 16″ x 5″ (bottom expandable to 7.25″), so that most 15″ laptops will fit just fine. My Macbook Pro included.

UNI cargo laptop tote bag - review by Laptop Bag Explorer

Last week Alan from Ice Red Designs sent me a UNI cargo laptop tote bag to take a look at. While I believe the styling of the bag is best for a woman, I’ve been personally testing it out and I must say I’m really impressed with the bag so far. Plenty of room, plenty of pockets and nice craftsmanship with all of the pattern cuts, stitching, zippers and material being well made with great quality.

A solid, tough bag!

I try to stay on-topic here at “Funky, Chic and Cool Laptop Bags” to make sure you’re getting the laptop bag reviews you need. But sometimes, we all need to branch out and look at something different. Especially when those different things are brightly coloured. Alan over at Ice Red Designs sent over one of his super-cool messenger bags. So while not strictly laptop, I did want to show it off.
